Bookeye® 3R2 Book Scanner

Because of the overhead scanning technique implemented by the Bookeye® family of book scanners, Bookeye® 3 R2 is ideal for gentle scanning or copying of bound and large format documents: books, maps, newspapers, folders stapled originals, drawings up to A2+, and much more.

Documents remain in their ”natural” state on the scan surface. They do not need to be unbound, separated or carefully positioned.

Using the glass plate, the documents can be pressed gently against the book cradle which can be adjusted for height to achieve an optimal scan result. The automatic electronic book fold correction smoothes the curvature of the book fold.

The Bookeye® 3 is available either as a color or grayscale unit. The grayscale unit can be easily upgraded to a color scanner after purchase.

Bookeye® 4 V1A Professional Book Scanner

The flagship in the Bookeye® 4 family of scanners is the Bookeye® 4 V1A. Scanning A1+ formats at 400 optical dpi, the Bookeye® 4 V1A features an automatic book cradle with up to 10 cm height adjustment, a glass plate that opens automatically and of course the 120 degree V-book cradle. Bookeye® 4 V1A is the world´s only working A1+ scanner that accommodates both flat documents - with or without the glass plate; as well as large, fragile bound documents, using the protective V cradle.

Bookeye® 4 V1A is suitable for digitization projects that require high quality and maximum productivity even in 24/7 operation.

Bookeye® 4 V2 "Basic" Book Scanner

Without being loaded with a lot of costly, unnecessary "features", the Bookeye ® 4 Basic is still a full-fledged scanner, ready for use anywhere where grayscale is enough.

Equipped with a standard scanning application, Bookeye® 4 Basic scans documents, such as magazines, files, folders, bound documents, contracts, and accounting ledgers at an optical resolution of 400 dpi at high speeds.

The clearly structured menus on the touchscreen guide the user intuitively through the operation of the scanner. Scanned images can be stored directly on the device to a USB flash drive or sent via eMail. Uploads to an FTP server, printing to any network or connected printer and saving the images to network drives are also standard Bookeye® 4 Basic functions.

Bookeye® 4 V2 "Kiosk" Book Scanner

Bookeye ® 4 Kiosk was designed specifically for self-service applications. A casual user, from any walk of life, can quickly and easily operate this book scanner.

In libraries, archives and other public institutions, the Bookeye® 4 Kiosk is often found as an integral part of the infrastructure. Through the freely configurable touchscreen, the user interface of the scanner can be precisely matched to the requirements of the customers (and to their corporate identity).

The unique book cradle solution allows users to digitize bound documents at an optical resolution of 400 dpi and A2+ in size, by either lying them flat on the scanning bed or in the V-cradle, at an angle of 120 degrees.

The integrated 19 inch preview monitor allows the operator to control image quality and make some modifications on the fly. Scanned images can be output to USB, eMail, network, printer or on a mobile device like an iPad or Anrdoid tablet.

Image Access WideTEK36 C CIS Scanner

The WideTEK® 36C-300 is by far the fastest CIS scanner available on the market, running at 6.4 inches per second at 200 dpi in color, 4.3 inches per second at 300 dpi in color and 2.1 inches per second at 600 dpi in color. Grayscale and binary speeds are doubled, but are limited to 10 inches per second at 200 dpi to ensure safe paper handling. All of these speeds are guaranteed due to the Scan2Net technology integrated in the scanner´s own built-in PC. It is a true standalone system, capable of scanning directly to FTP servers, USB drives, to cloud applications in the internet or copying to plotters directly, without the need for an extra PC.

Illuminated by more than 1000 LEDs, it produces extraordinarily sharp and crisp images, with color accuracy even superior to many CCD scanners. Document rotation can be done without any penalty, enabling a scan of an E-sized document in portrait mode at 400 dpi color in 15 seconds. WideTEK® 36 DS - the world´s first wide format duplex scanner for digitization of two sided printed documents up to 36 inches (915 mm) in width. At a resolution of 300 dpi the scanner needs only 2.5 seconds to scan the front and back sides of a newspaper page in a single pass through the scanner.
